We stray through this forlorn place
We stay, gazing at the aftermath
We pray that our lives will be saved
Until the next war unfolds
There's no hope, no justice
Just this agonizing fear
The fear of death
It's always the same
It's one war after another
And the hunger of men
Versus the craving for power
While we seek to conquer land
We fall into traps we laid ourselves
Enduring the pain
Just to realise there's nothing to gain
We stray through this forlorn place
Counting our failures in hindsight
We never aimed to ruin this
Never aimed to ruin us
We persued our goals blindly
Ignoring what lies beneath
Temporary fortune outweighed consequences
Always on collision course
[With what didn't seem inevitable]
We stay, gazing at the aftermath
The things we can't change
Or didn't try changing
Now we pray that our lives will be saved
Until we get another chance
Until we fuck up again
We stray through this forlorn place
We stay, gazing at the aftermath
We pray that our lives will be saved
Until the next war unfolds
Where is the place that I belong to?
Where is the place that we call home?
We stray through this forlorn place
Counting our failures in hindsight
We never aimed to ruin this
Never aimed to ruin us
But we lost

I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ

One of the best deathcore releases ever, each song is great and unique with an interesting story attached to them. Every track from these guys is impressive and mind blowing. tpalm66

The New Jersey outfit cast a gothic pall over hard-hitting hardcore, leaving us with a deliciously murky set of pit-starters. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2018
